Baby Dale

Dale Sholl, 5 months old, holds his mothers finger while he rests in his hospital bed at St. Francis’ Children’s Hospital in Tulsa. Sholl was born with a hole in his heart and reversed heart ventricles among other heart conditions. He has had two surgeries already, and will need two more by the time he is 2 years old. The family was hoping to make it out of the hospital before Easter, but didn’t make it.

Thanks Rachel so much for doing that story. That picture above I will treasure always! He is indeed going back for his second surgery, called the Glenn Procedure, on Jan. 11th. The story you did caused a lot of prayers to go out for our lil man and I truly thank you for that.

    • Jo, thank you for sharing your story with me, The Bigheart Times and the rest of Osage County. I am glad it could help some. Having emotional support is a large part of the battle. We will all be thinking about you and your family.
