My aunt Janice recently had surgery to remove one of her breasts that had two tumors. After the surgery she was a little out of it and kept staring blankly out of her fifth story window view.
During the though surgery the doctors used a yellow dye to try and determine if her lymph nodes had cancer as well. Although the dye didn’t end up working, it gave her a nice jaundice color.
The surgeon removed several lymph nodes for testing. Fortunately, only a couple had cancer. She will have CAT scans to search for spreading cancer, along with chemo every two weeks for 16 weeks. By Christmas this could all but be a faded memory… at least I hope so.
